Membership Terms & Conditions

Thank you for choosing Zap Beauty Bar as part of your skincare and self-care journey. Our memberships are designed to encourage consistency while providing flexibility based on your individual skincare and self-care needs.
By enrolling in a Zap Beauty Bar membership, you acknowledge that you have reviewed, understand, and agree to the following Membership Terms & Conditions.
MEMBERSHIP BENEFITS
Your specific membership rate, included monthly benefit or Treatment Credit, applicable discounts, rollover allowance, complimentary benefits, and other tier-specific perks are based on the membership selected at the time of enrollment.
Current membership details are provided within the applicable membership description.
Membership benefits are available only while the membership is active and in good standing unless otherwise stated within this agreement.
Benefits are subject to eligibility, availability, applicable exclusions, and treatment appropriateness.
MONTHLY BENEFITS
Membership benefits are issued each calendar month following successful membership payment.
Depending on the membership selected, the monthly benefit may consist of an included service, Treatment Credit, complimentary enhancement, or other stated benefit.
Included services and membership benefits cannot be converted to cash, refunded, sold, transferred, or exchanged for retail products unless specifically stated otherwise.
Treatment eligibility remains subject to professional assessment. Zap Beauty Bar reserves the right to modify or decline a requested treatment when necessary for client safety or when a treatment is not appropriate for the client's current skin condition.
BILLING
Zap Beauty Bar memberships have a 30-day minimum commitment and continue month-to-month thereafter.
Memberships renew on the 1st of each month, and applicable monthly benefits are issued following successful payment.
Memberships are billed monthly and cannot be prepaid for future months.
Clients enrolling online mid-month may be charged the full monthly membership rate at enrollment. Mid-month prorating may be available when enrollment is completed directly through Zap Beauty Bar.
Successfully processed membership payments are non-refundable, except in the event of a verified duplicate charge or billing error.
CANCELLATION
Membership cancellation requests may be submitted directly through the Boulevard Client Portal.
A minimum 14-day cancellation notice is required before the next billing date.
If a cancellation request is submitted fewer than 14 days before the next billing date, the upcoming membership payment may still process and cancellation will take effect following that billing cycle.
Not booking an appointment, not using membership benefits, or verbally mentioning an intention to cancel does notautomatically cancel a membership.
Voluntarily canceled memberships are subject to a 90-day waiting period from the membership end date before re-enrollment.
Re-enrollment is subject to current membership pricing, benefits, availability, and terms. Previous pricing or benefits are not guaranteed.
There is no enrollment or re-enrollment fee.
MEMBERSHIP PAUSES
Members must complete at least 3 active, paid membership months before becoming eligible for a voluntary pause.
Once eligible, a membership may be paused once within any 12-month period for up to 2 consecutive months.
During an approved pause:
Membership billing temporarily stops.
No new monthly benefits or Treatment Credits are issued.
Existing banked benefits are frozen and cannot be redeemed.
Membership discounts and active-member perks are suspended.
At the end of the approved pause, the membership automatically reactivates and regular billing resumes on the next applicable billing date.
If more than 2 consecutive months are needed, the membership must be canceled.
The same pause policy applies regardless of the reason for the requested pause.
ROLLOVER & BANKED BENEFITS
Eligible unused membership benefits may roll over according to the rollover allowance associated with the enrolled membership.
Once the applicable rollover maximum has been reached, additional unused monthly benefits will not continue to accumulate until eligible banked benefits are redeemed.
Rollover benefits are non-transferable and cannot be sold, gifted, exchanged for cash, converted to retail credit, or transferred to another client.
Included service benefits cannot be combined together to create a larger dollar value toward another service unless specifically permitted by the enrolled membership.
TREATMENT CREDITS
Memberships that include Treatment Credits may apply available credit toward eligible treatments, services, and enhancements.
Treatment Credits may cover up to 100% of an eligible treatment when sufficient credit is available. Any unused eligible credit remains in the member's account, subject to the applicable membership rollover limit.
Treatment Credits cannot be redeemed for cash or applied toward gratuity, retail products, gift cards, membership payments, packages, programs, series, promotions, or designated specialty/high-cost treatments.
Eligible services and exclusions may change as Zap Beauty Bar's service menu evolves.
MEMBER DISCOUNTS
Active members may receive discounts on eligible services and/or retail products according to the membership selected.
When both Treatment Credit and a member service discount are applicable, available Treatment Credit is applied first, followed by the applicable member discount on the remaining eligible balance.
If Treatment Credit fully covers the eligible service, an unused percentage discount is not converted into additional credit, cash, or another benefit.
Member discounts cannot be combined with specials, promotions, flash sales, promotional pricing, packages, programs, series, or other already-discounted offers unless specifically stated otherwise.
Designated specialty or high-cost treatments may be excluded from Treatment Credit redemption and member discounts.
INCLUDED SERVICE MEMBERSHIPS
Memberships that include a specific monthly service rather than Treatment Credit are governed by the service and upgrade options stated within that membership's current description.
When an included service is eligible for an upgrade, the member is responsible for the difference between the current retail value of the included service and the current retail price of the selected eligible upgrade.
Any additional membership discount does not apply to the upgrade difference unless specifically stated otherwise.
Included services cannot be converted into general Treatment Credit or applied toward unrelated services unless specifically permitted by the membership.
COMPLIMENTARY MONTHLY BENEFITS
Certain memberships may include a complimentary monthly enhancement or other monthly benefit.
Unless otherwise stated, complimentary monthly benefits must be redeemed during the applicable calendar month and do not roll over.
Complimentary benefits have no cash value and cannot be transferred, exchanged, or converted into Treatment Credit.
PRIORITY BOOKING
Active members receive priority booking over non-members, subject to appointment availability.
Certain memberships may include additional advance scheduling or waitlist privileges as described within the applicable membership.
Priority booking, waitlist placement, or the ability to request future dates does not guarantee appointment availabilityor require Zap Beauty Bar to open a date or time that is otherwise unavailable.
APPOINTMENT BOOKING DEPOSIT
The standard $25 appointment booking deposit is waived for active members.
The deposit waiver does not waive Zap Beauty Bar's cancellation, rescheduling, no-show, or late-arrival policies.
MEMBER CANCELLATION & NO-SHOW POLICY
Active members receive the following appointment cancellation benefit:
48 hours or more before the appointment: No cancellation or rescheduling fee.
Less than 48 hours before the appointment: $50 flat late-cancellation/rescheduling fee.
No-show: $75 flat fee.
Late-cancellation and no-show fees must be paid separately and cannot be covered by membership benefits, Treatment Credits, Referral Credits, or member discounts.
A monthly or banked membership benefit is not automatically forfeited solely because of a late cancellation or no-show and remains subject to the applicable rollover rules.
Any outstanding cancellation, no-show, or other applicable account fee must be paid before another appointment may be booked or membership benefits redeemed.
Membership does not override Zap Beauty Bar's standard late-arrival policy or extend the scheduled appointment time.
BIRTHDAY BENEFIT 🎂
Active members may receive a Zap Birthday Gift during their birthday month according to the benefits associated with their active membership.
Birthday gifts and complimentary birthday benefits are non-transferable, have no cash value, and must be redeemed within the applicable eligibility period.
If a membership includes both a regular monthly complimentary enhancement and a birthday enhancement, applicable benefits will be administered according to the membership's current benefit structure.
MEMBER REFERRAL REWARDS
Active members may receive enhanced referral rewards for qualifying new-client referrals.
Referral rewards are issued after the referred client successfully completes and pays for the applicable qualifying appointment or purchase.
Additional referral rewards may be available when a qualifying referred client subsequently enrolls in an eligible membership or purchases an eligible package or program.
Current referral reward amounts and qualifying requirements are determined by the referral program in effect at the time the referral qualifies.
Referral Credits are maintained separately from monthly membership benefits and Treatment Credits.
Referral Credits may be applied toward eligible services and enhancements but cannot be redeemed for cash or applied toward retail products, gift cards, memberships, packages, programs, series, promotions, or designated excluded treatments.
Eligible Referral Credits remain on the client's account following membership cancellation unless otherwise stated by the applicable referral program.
TIER CHANGES
Members must complete at least 3 active, paid months in their initial membership before their first voluntary membership change.
Afterward, voluntary membership changes are limited to once every 3 months.
Approved changes take effect on the next billing date. Mid-cycle prorating or recalculation of membership benefits is not available.
The current pricing, benefits, availability, and terms of the newly selected membership will apply.
Previously earned eligible benefits remain subject to the redemption rules and exclusions under which they were earned unless otherwise stated.
FAILED MEMBERSHIP PAYMENTS
If an automatic membership payment is declined, membership benefits are immediately placed on hold.
The member has 3 calendar days to update the payment method and successfully process the outstanding payment.
During the payment hold, the member cannot redeem monthly benefits, Treatment Credits, banked benefits, member discounts, complimentary enhancements, priority-booking privileges, or other active-member perks.
If payment remains unresolved after the grace period, the membership may be canceled.
If payment is successfully corrected within the 3-day grace period, the membership resumes normally.
Memberships canceled solely due to an unresolved failed payment are not automatically subject to the 90-day voluntary-cancellation waiting period.
Missed benefits from an inactive period are not backdated.
BENEFITS AFTER CANCELLATION
Eligible banked membership benefits or Treatment Credits remaining at the end of a membership may be redeemed for up to 3 months following the membership end date.
During this post-cancellation redemption period, former members do not receive active-member discounts, priority booking, complimentary benefits, or other active-member perks.
Previously earned benefits remain subject to their original eligibility and redemption restrictions.
Any remaining eligible membership benefits expire at the end of the 3-month redemption period.
Referral Credits are maintained separately and are not subject to this membership-benefit expiration rule unless otherwise stated by the applicable referral program.
PACKAGES, PROGRAMS, SERIES & PROMOTIONS
Membership benefits, Treatment Credits, and member discounts cannot be applied toward the purchase of packages, programs, or series that already contain bundled or discounted value unless specifically stated otherwise.
A member who separately owns a package, program, or series may use that benefit and membership benefits toward separate eligible services during the same visit when appropriate. Benefits cannot be stacked on the same service unless specifically permitted.
Membership benefits and discounts cannot be combined with specials, promotional pricing, flash sales, or other discounted offers.
Clients may choose to purchase a promotional service, but the promotional price is paid separately rather than combined with membership benefits on the same service.
GIFT CARDS, RETAIL & GRATUITY
Membership benefits and Treatment Credits cannot be used to purchase gift cards.
An existing gift card may be used as a form of payment toward an eligible remaining balance after applicable membership benefits have been applied.
Treatment Credits cannot be used toward retail products. Eligible retail discounts are determined by the active membership.
Membership benefits and Treatment Credits have no cash value and cannot be applied toward gratuity. Gratuity is separate and optional.
INDIVIDUAL & NON-TRANSFERABLE MEMBERSHIPS
Each Zap Beauty Bar membership belongs to one individual client.
Membership benefits, included services, Treatment Credits, discounts, complimentary enhancements, and other perks may not be shared, transferred, gifted, sold, or divided between individuals.
Family or household members must maintain separate memberships if they wish to receive membership benefits.
ZAP BEAUTY BAR CANCELLATIONS
If Zap Beauty Bar must cancel or reschedule a member's appointment, the member will not be charged a client cancellation or rescheduling fee and the applicable membership benefit will remain available.
If a Zap Beauty Bar cancellation prevents a member from reasonably redeeming a time-sensitive benefit before it expires, the affected benefit may be extended into the following month as a one-time exception when appropriate.
This exception does not create an ongoing rollover entitlement for benefits that otherwise do not roll over.
EXTENDED CLOSURES & LIMITED AVAILABILITY
If an extended business closure or period of limited availability prevents members from reasonably redeeming membership benefits, affected benefits may be extended or adjusted at Zap Beauty Bar's discretion.
Temporary closures or scheduling limitations do not automatically suspend membership billing unless otherwise communicated by Zap Beauty Bar.
MEMBERSHIP CONDUCT & MISUSE
Zap Beauty Bar is committed to maintaining a safe, professional, respectful, and welcoming environment.
Fraudulent activity, unauthorized transfer or misuse of membership benefits, harassment, intimidation, discrimination, threatening or abusive behavior, or repeated violations of Zap Beauty Bar policies may result in suspension or termination of membership privileges.
Zap Beauty Bar reserves the right to take appropriate action based on the nature and severity of the conduct.
MEMBERSHIP ENROLLMENT & AVAILABILITY
Membership enrollment is subject to availability.
Zap Beauty Bar may limit, pause, or close new membership enrollment when necessary to maintain appointment availability, service quality, and the experience of existing members.
CHANGES TO MEMBERSHIP TERMS
Zap Beauty Bar may update membership benefits, policies, eligible services, exclusions, or Membership Terms & Conditions as the business evolves.
Reasonable advance notice will be provided for material changes.
Members will receive at least 30 days' advance notice before a membership price increase takes effect.
Membership pricing, benefits, and service offerings are not guaranteed for life.
MEMBER ACKNOWLEDGMENT
By purchasing and maintaining a Zap Beauty Bar membership, you acknowledge that you have reviewed, understand, and agree to these Membership Terms & Conditions, including recurring monthly billing, the minimum commitment, cancellation-notice requirement, appointment policies, benefit limitations, rollover rules, and applicable membership restrictions.
