All new facial clients begin with a one-on-one Virtual Consultation via Zoom before their first in-person appointment.
This is our opportunity to talk about your skin concerns, goals, current skincare routine, treatment history, lifestyle, and any relevant medications or sensitivities. I’ll also take a visual look at your skin and answer any questions you may have.
But your consultation is about more than skincare.
Because Zap Beauty Bar is a private home-based studio, I want us to have an opportunity to meet and connect before your first in-person visit. This allows you to get a feel for me, my approach, and the Zap experience, while also giving us the opportunity to make sure we’re a great fit for one another.
I believe the best esthetician-client relationships are built on trust, comfort, communication, and mutual respect—and that starts before you ever step into the treatment room
YOUR $25 GOES TOWARD YOUR FIRST FACIAL
Your $25 Virtual Consultation fee will be applied toward your first facial when your appointment is booked within 30 days of your completed consultation.
Your facial appointment itself does not have to take place within those 30 days, it simply needs to be booked during that timeframe.
After 30 days, the consultation credit expires and cannot be applied toward a future service. Consultation fees are non-refundable and non-transferable.
Eligible referral codes or promotional offers may allow the Virtual Consultation requirement to be waived.
STEP 2 — ZAP SKIN DISCOVERY FACIAL

60 Minutes | $140
Following your Virtual Consultation, your first facial experience is the Zap Skin Discovery Facial.
This appointment allows us to take a closer look at your skin in person, evaluate its current condition, and provide a customized yet intentionally conservative introductory treatment.
YOUR TREATMENT MAY INCLUDE
Professional Skin Analysis • Double Cleanse • Steam if Appropriate • Customized Gentle Exfoliation • Light Extractions if Appropriate • Customized Treatment Mask • Facial Massage • Neck & Shoulder Massage • Targeted Serums • Moisturizer • SPF • Hydrating Lip Treatment
But the most important part happens beyond the facial itself.
We'll use what we learn to create your personalized skin plan, which may include:
Recommended Core Facial • Treatment Frequency • Homecare Recommendations • Advanced Corrective Options • Chemical Peel Preparation • Corrective Programs or Series
INTERESTED IN CHEMICAL PEELS?
Preparation Comes Before Correction.
If chemical peels are part of your skincare goals, your Skin Discovery appointment also serves as an opportunity to assess your peel readiness.
We'll evaluate your skin's current condition, barrier health, homecare routine, treatment history, and other relevant factors before recommending a peel.
Some clients may need a period of professional homecare or skin conditioning before beginning corrective treatments.
Chemical peels are not performed during your Skin Discovery Facial. Any required homecare preparation and future peel treatments are purchased separately.
STEP 3 — YOUR PERSONALIZED SKIN JOURNEY
After Skin Discovery, you can transition into the treatments that best support your goals.
That might mean regular maintenance with Zap Signature, targeted support with Calm Oasis, Clarity Ritual, Purity Reset, Luna Glow, or Timeless Renewal, or progressing into eligible corrective treatments when your skin is ready.
Your plan can evolve as your skin changes.
You Don't Have to Know What to Book.

Because Zap Beauty Bar is a private home-based studio, your consultation also gives us the opportunity to connect before meeting in person. I want you to feel comfortable with me, my approach, and the environment you'll be receiving your treatments in—and to make sure Zap feels like the right fit for you.

And you don't need to know exactly what treatment you need before we meet—that's what I'm here to help you determine.
At the end of your consultation, we'll discuss your recommended next step, which for most new facial clients will be the Zap Skin Discovery Facial.
how to PREPARE for YOUR VIRTUAL CONSULTATION.
1. Come With a Clean Face
If possible, join your consultation makeup-free so I can get the clearest view of your skin during our video call.
2. Have Your Products Nearby
Have the skincare products you're currently using nearby, or take photos of the labels so we can review your routine together.
3. Know Your Skin History
Be prepared to discuss allergies, sensitivities, medications, recent procedures, previous treatments, and anything else that may affect your skin.
4. Bring Your Questions
Have a specific concern or treatment in mind? Bring it! We'll talk through your goals and determine what makes the most sense for your skin.
