Your first facial at Zap Beauty Bar is a little different—and intentionally so.
The Zap Skin Discovery Facial is designed exclusively for new clients following their required Virtual Consultation. It gives us the opportunity to take what we learned during your Zoom consultation and get a closer, hands-on look at your skin before beginning more targeted or corrective treatments.
You'll receive a customized introductory facial while I evaluate your skin's current condition, barrier health, hydration, congestion, sensitivity, and other visible concerns.
But Skin Discovery isn't just about what we do today—it's about figuring out where your skin should go next.

Skin Discovery is intentionally conservative. Your first appointment is about learning your skin and establishing a safe starting point—not performing every possible modality or aggressive corrective treatment.

We'll prioritize what's most important instead of trying to correct everything at once.
INTERESTED IN CHEMICAL PEELS?
Your Skin Discovery Facial also serves as your peel-readiness assessment when chemical peels are part of your goals.
I'll evaluate factors such as your skin's current condition, barrier health, homecare routine, treatment history, and overall readiness before recommending a professional peel.
If appropriate, you'll receive a personalized pre-peel plan that may include specific homecare, preparation time, and the peel or series recommended for your skin.
A chemical peel is not performed during the Skin Discovery Facial.
Required pre-peel homecare and future chemical peel treatments are purchased separately.

Already completed your $25 Virtual Consultation?
When your Skin Discovery Facial is booked within 30 days of your completed consultation, your $25 consultation fee will be applied toward your facial.

– $25 Consultation Credit
= $115 Remaining
Your facial may take place after the 30-day period; it simply must be booked within 30 days of your completed consultation to receive the credit.

Corrective and advanced enhancements are not pre-booked with your first Skin Discovery appointment. Future options may be recommended after your skin has been assessed.
BEFORE YOUR APPOINTMENT
Please arrive makeup-free when possible and avoid introducing new or aggressive skincare products immediately before your appointment.
Be sure to update me about any changes to your medications, health history, skincare routine, recent procedures, or skin condition since your Virtual Consultation.
WHO CAN BOOK SKIN DISCOVERY?
Skin Discovery is exclusively for clients who have never received a facial or professional skincare treatment with Zap Beauty Bar.
If you've previously received a facial with Zap—even if it's been a while—you are considered a returning client and should book the Core Facial that best matches your current concerns. Your skin will be reassessed at your appointment.
